These oil droplets exuded a most beautiful fresh rose fragrance. The sunlight had naturally distilled rose essential oil from the fresh petals. From then on, rose essential oil started being produced in Persia through early distillation methods.

Try this recipe - Acne Spot Treatment: Truly clear acne by dapping one drop of pure rose essential oil directly onto blemishes when they arise, continuing three times a day until it is gone. For safe application, use a sterile cotton swab, and dilute with a bit of coconut oil if preferred.

Ylang Ylang

Also known as flower of flowers, ylang ylang flowers are unique sweet smelling flowers that are used to extract ylang ylang oil. It’s pronounced “EElang EElang”. This makes it good for combination skin, and all other skin-types. 

Try this recipe: Hormone Balancing Face Serum:  1oz. evening primrose oil, 30 drops ylang ylang essential oil, 30 drops clary sage essential oil, 30 drops thyme essential oil, come all ingredients together in a dark glass bottle, mix well, and apply at least twice daily to your neck. 

Or this recipe - Spark the Romance Bath Blend: 10 drops ylang ylang EO, 10 drops geranium EO, 15 drops grapefruit eo, 2 cups epsom salts.

Tea Tree (aka MELALEUCA)

  • 5 drop Rose Essential Oil (Rosa damascena)

  • 5 drop German chamomile (Chamomile matricaria)

Clary Sage

Note*: Clary sage essential oil blends well with citrus oils, lavender, juniper and geranium. We blend clary sage with tea tree oil in our unrefined shea butter and shea butter balm sticks as well. It balances nicely and calms the sometimes too medicinal aroma of tea tree oil.
